How To Turn Off Alarm

I see alot of discussions on people complaining that they cant turn off the alarm when it goes off and having to get a 3rd party app. I havn't seen anyonelse talk about there actually being a way to turn off the alarm and maybe I just havn't seen it. But I discovered a way to dismiss the alarm/. Whenever the alarm goes off what I do is hit the end key to silence it. Then if you look on the top status bar there will be the little alarm bell looking emblem. All you have to do is touch it and it brings up the big screen with the battery, sound button and all and there will be a big alarm button. All you have to do is press it and it brings up the screen to hit dismiss on the alarm. Just hit dismiss in the bottom left hand corner like you would on the mogul or other phones and alarm is dismissed. Hope this helps out some.
