Re: View PPC Screen On Computer

I use MyMobiler over wifi to transfer small files and I rarely ever use Activesync anymore. Great option for those who don't have or want to use ActiveSync. You can drag & drop cab files to the window and it transfers it over and starts the installer.

Re: View PPC Screen On Computer

I use MyMobiler too & it works super for me with one exception:

I have an EeePC (10" screen/WindowsXP Home) that I use on business trips & it does not like MM at all for some reason. When I tried to run it on just that one particular computer, it froze the computer solid & then after rebooting I completely lost the ability to connect with ActiveSync & absolutely NOTHING I tried to solve the problem worked (the USB port did not even recognize the phone was connected half the time & the other half it gave a USB error).

I finally ran the system restore & reset everything to the day before & it was fine again. On every other computer I have run MM on, it has worked just fine so go figure........I would figure the Eee had some kind of conflicting program installed, but it was brand new at the time & had almost nothing installed (I formatted the hard drive right out of the box & did a "clean install" of WinXP in it)

Re: View PPC Screen On Computer

sorry to hear that mike. Thanks for being our guinea pig though.

vento, thanks for that tip about cab files man! I've always transfered via disk drive and navigated to it on my phone. This should save me some time. (Maybe I should have read the feature list lol)

I use a Blackberry Stereo Gateway, Kill your bitpool settings and use the bluetooth, you can get 15-25 ft away and still handle your calls via the phone. They cost about $20 on Amazon
