Sprint TV on Touch Pro

Have a quick question.
On the Sprint TV tab in TF3D on the Touch Pro, it looks like it's able to have various items along the side of it (like how the "PEOPLE" tab you can scroll the column to the right).
How would one add to that column, and if you can't why is it there.
