Disabling Voice Command save battery?

Will disabling Voice Command save any battery power? I figure if it's enable it must be polling or waiting in the background. Might save a little? Your thoughts?

Re: Disabling Voice Command save battery?

nah, not using it all together might save ya some though... if u recieve alot of voice calls and texts thats its reading out loud thats is..

but my guess this is very low batt impact...

all the battery major drainage is from the vga screen, radios, and antenna

Re: Disabling Voice Command save battery?

I disabled it also (about five minutes after I turned on the phone)

I used to use it all the time in my old Titan's to announce incoming calls but unfortunatelly it's never worked right for that function in the TouchPro. Yes, there is a regedit that will enable that function, but the volume is so low it's virtually useless.
