I read somewhere on this forum it was free, I started using it for awhile, now they want to charge me..

Is it supposed to be free?

do you have an unlimited data plan? if not, i believe it's $9.99/month(i think).

Yeah, if you have the "Everything" plan its free... any other plan charges.

no you shouldn't because unlimtied data includes navi.

as long as ur plan has unlimited data or ur plan says free sprint navigation, then it's free...at least that's what sprint reps told me....lol, but we know how confused some of them are haha

I have unlimited data, but I am on the old vision plan $15 and that did not include sprint nav....if i want it it is 9.99/month

Sero....no go. You have to pay $2.99/day or $10.00/month

You need one of the "Everything" Packs(eg SEP, Family Data Everything) to get it for "free"

Sprint Navigation is very distorted and the pixels look crummy around the buttons. Sprint decided to put a version of Telnav on our phones that was actually built for phones with a much lower screen resolution than the TouchPro. This is better and straight from TeleNav

Step 1. Install the cab to your device and after install go ahead and run the program.

Step 2. On first run the program will go through setup where your telephone number will already be displayed and under that the set up wants you to enter your pin obtain your pin number by going to http://signin.telenav.com/tnsso/sso/...nav.com%2Fmytn and choosing the link "get Your pin” after putting in your phone number, it will text you the pin number and then input it in the password field.

Also go to Windows/StartMenu/Programs and delete the original SprintNav if you already have one installed. Otherwise it will show both icons.

I've noticed when in contacts, if I select the "Drive to" option for a contact, Telenav 5.1.16 starts, but the address is not fed into Telenav. So unlike Sprint Navigation, I'm not able to use the "Drive to" option for an easy way to get a route to a destination. I don't use that method very often, Telenav 5.1.16 has some benefits over Sprint Navigation v2.1, so I'll keep it for now. But has anyone found a way to get the "Drive to" menu option in contacts working properly again?
