Re: iPod Touch 2G using Touch Pro data
You can use wmwifirouter to create a WiFi hotspot on your TP that you can connect to from your iPod Touch. That WiFi hotspot will be tethering data from the TP to the Touch.

Re: iPod Touch 2G using Touch Pro data
bump bump bump on WMWIFIROUTER!!!
I have a iPod Touch 2G...I turn my TP into its own little wifi hotspot how awesome is that!!! Then again, my TP does things that my iPod touch OR an iPhone only dream of anyway! http://www.wmwifirouter.com/ ok, there's the link. It is no longer free...there are cabs out there for the betas and such. The paid version is $30. I don't "buy" a lot of software...but this one I shelled out for and it is COMPLETELY worth it. |

I also have a rather new 16 gig ipod touch. Whenever I have it with me, I use WmWifirouter to connect it to the net (& it's worth every penny they charge for it). Much as I hate to admit it, the safari browser & the super responsive screen blows away anything I have in my TP fror regular inet browsing (opera mini is good, but safari is still better) ~John |

Re: iPod Touch 2G using Touch Pro data
Let me ask you guys this... If I have no service on my phone, but I'm at a computer, and I hook it up via active sync, I get internet connectivity. Can I then transmit that internet connectivity or does it need to have it's own evdo connection?
