Fuze Rom update

I am new to loading updates. I would love for someone to tell me how to load the new ROM update. It is an .exe file. I am only familiar with .cab files.

If it HTC update just follow the instructions.

you have to use your pc, you can not download it straight to your phone.

The update is not published by HTC yet, so no instructions. I know it has to be downloaded onto my phone, but what file do I put it into to have it executed an .exe file? It won't run off of the storage card, where I put all of my .cab files.

Your device needs to be sync'ed to a desktop PC via Activesync or Windows Mobile Device Center. Then you run the .exe file on the PC, it will unpack the Rom Update Utility and the new Rom and update automatically for you.

Thanks!!! Not trying to be blond....I currently sync with active sync, will it automatically sync or do I have to instruct it to find the files? Has anyone run the update posted on xda yet? if so, were you happy with the results?

Just run the .exe file from your desktop, if the phone is synced it'll find the phone and update it. Make sure you got your contacts, etc backed up as the update will delete it.

I loaded the ROM today and was please. I did encounter a problem...I am no longer getting notification of new msgs nor are they being put into a thread. Can anyone help?
