Its property of Asurion. WHen you found it your suppose to sent it to them. If they find out you found it they will want it and if you dont send it they will bill you for the replacement.

cant be used on sprint but it should work on another network. asurion marks it as a loss. the correct thing to do would be send back the one they sent you but do you really want to send back a new phone? all else fails use it as a dedicated MP3 player, GPS, and wifi in your car.

this is true. once you report it lost or stolen, it becomes a pretty paperweight.

not really a paperweight, you can still use all the functions other than the phone, and just because it has a bad ESN on sprint does not mean you cant have it activated on another cell provider.
