When it boots up, go into any custom Task Manager program (this one is the best in existence) and kill "repllog.exe". FINALLY, from here until your next soft reset or synchronization with your computer, you are ActiveSync free and will see at LEAST a 20% gain in battery life. I've gotten ~40% more use with this fix, and that's not a joke. ActiveSync just eats away at RAM & battery is painfully inefficient.
