Bluetooth Headset problem

All of the sudden my bluetooth headset is having a very annoying problem playing music. The songs play, but it constantly pops and cuts the music in and out. This always happens when I'm listening to a song and hit the power button to turn the phone off or if I'm doing something else on the phone that temporarily spikes the CPU or memory. The music continues to play through the headset fine, there's just a small pop or delay in the music. Now this popping and delay is happening constantly.

I have tried a couple of things. Unpaired and re-paired the headset. Removed the music tab and used S2P. Turned off all data syncing and the phone as well. Plently of soft resets. Nothing has worked.

Everytime I use the headset to play any music I get constant popping and delays. Any ideas? Anyone had this problem and found a fix?
