Yea,

That's been addressed many times on here. If there is nothing to start with, and you install and uninstall - everything goes away.

If it was in the ROM, and you install again, then uninstall, the ROM files DO NOT go away. That was the single source of many of the major problems, and hence my new fix!

gotcha, oh well worth a try i guess.

You should create a cab that will overwrite the ROM files (which are undeletable btw) with 0 byte files of the same name, or that will rename them with a .bak extension.

I wonder what the circumstances are that are making these files indeleteable... Mine went just fine.

I don't think that they are ACTUALLY part of the rom.... It's just that the Sprint customized setup that runs will install the files (similar to a cab); it's just that there is no uninstall for it, so it had to be done manually....

i have used the update from powerdeck, and then uninstalled it, and while the files were removed, the reg entries weren't. a lost of the reg entries are context menu stuff, which is more annoying than anything else, cause who wants options for programs that don't exist.

I got rid of all the regret edits. I installed the Sprint Picmail update, but I use memmaid to uninstall. It got rid of every file and reg edits. If any one else would like to try Memmaid has a trial. Hopefully this works for everyone.

What's wrong with your application? did you install the 5mb fix?

are you able to se the 4.9mb limit?

I believe that there is a limit of how big a file is with almost every other carrier out there. If I'm not mistaken, VZ is 500k, Alltel used to be 300K but know that they merged don't know if they went up. Other carriers limit to 500k except for Sprint which will let you send to other sprint customers bigger files.

You are correct, I now have the 5MB sending limit working, but the other person can only receive 300K to 500K depending on the carrier... Although in a test I just sent myself 2.4MB of video...:headbang:

mines is taking about 30 mins to receive. im on erice's clean clean rom.

must i be on stock?
