For anyone who can send but receive, or receive but not send.....

Try going back to your registry editor and, instead of manually going to each registry entry, try searching for them by using a part of the entry. Perhaps there are some entries that are named the same, but are in a slightly different location.

For example, to delete my entry for:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Extensions\ContextMe nus\Pictures\imageview\{EB6C1AB1-C215-444c-85DB-1412091E536D}">
<parm name="" value="PictureMail" datatype="string" />

I simply searched in my reg editor for "imageview" and had it take me right there. I then deleted it.

Perhaps you missed something - it's worth a second look, believe me...

Good point - I am personally sticking with the 2mb for that reason - as well as the fact that some other carriers definitely won't accept media much larger than that...

i just had to hard reset, because everytime i try to make a call, my phone freezes. it froze like 10 times last night.

i'm just going to give up on picmail and pretend i have an iphone lol

PictureMail.dll cannot be deleted, you have to overwrite it with a 0kb file or just add .bak to the end of the file name, maybe that could be the problem. also uninstall sMMS if you have it installed and soft reset. that worked for me earlier(: hope this helps

hmm.. i have smms installed, but i don't have intercept enabled. could that be causing the problem? i thought that smms basically is just logs into your sprint account over the internet on their website to send the pic, like an automated web browser.

Uninstall it. You can always reinstall later.

I just tested the 5mb limit to send & receive and let me tell you guys that it works great with sprint.

We need to test other carriers to see if they can receive such a big MMS.
