garmin xt

i have touch pro with garmin xt. some time my signal lock in right away. some time i dont get signal at all even if i restart my phone. some time i get 1 bar that is red. dose some one else have same problem. please suggest me what to do. i would like to use Garmin becuase it wont use data all the time.
