Random Turn On
 

Before you yell at me to search, this is not what you think it is. My Pro's screen IS randomly waking up, but NOT like reported previously. All of a sudden my pros screen comes on after 30 seconds of being off. not every once and a while, but about every 30 seconds. It is not switching between 1x and evdo, it is in the came place on my bed with evdo. I have a feeling it is because my stylus switch is nearly broken, so does anyone have any other ideas as to why this is happening, or a reg edit to disable the stylus sensor/stylus sensor waking the phone up. TIA

Do you have Airave, this is coomon with our Airave at home, also was with my Mogul.

the must be some reg hack to disable it!

From what I've read most people have removed it altogether. Not saying there isn't a regedit, but I would assume that it is hardware controlled like the power button and the only way out of it is to remove the switch.

I think you might just be seeing the same thing most everyone else sees on all WM devices.

The phones just randomly wake up.

I've yet to see a definitive answer why or any way to make it stop.

does it do this when you leave the stylus out? if so I'm not sure that's your problem.

no i think it is not sensing when the stylus is in 100% of the time
