Re: Touch Pro camera quality

Wow, I can see a difference, but it is still not perfect. I disabled the white ballance and removed the back cover. Check it out in the attachment.

I've heard of a camera app for the iPhone that will only allow the camera to snap a shot when the G-Sensor detects that the phone is not shaking. Have you seen anything like that for Windows Mobile?

The softness looks like motion blur to me.

Re: Touch Pro camera quality

It sounds crazy, but with my last 2 camera phones I wait a beat after the shutter sound before moving the phone. Seems to help. I am not sure what the deal is, but if I move the phone right after the sound, things can get blurry. I get great pictures with the Pro and so far everyone I send them to seems impressed as well.

4. On your shoot option, put it to just touch
5. And set the image properties to 4, 4, and 5

Now these settings have gotten me good shots, try them out and see if it works for you.
Ok, here is a comparison. Now I have a lot less light because of sunset. Check the colors in the background. Much better settings.

For normal operation, removing the back cover is very cumbersome, though....

Re: Touch Pro camera quality

DUDE- did you guys try wiping off the back cover?
There's some adhesive from the packaging that makes blurry shots until you wipe it off with a cotton cloth.

My pictures looked that for one day, then I cleaned it and it's been damned near the best camera phone quality I've ever seen since then.

Re: Touch Pro camera quality settings

I cant turn off my white balance. It only goes through all the different types of lighting. Auto, night, day, indoor lights but no off setting.
