Re: yahoo business mail

I also have a Business account thru Yahoo but I am using the Diamond. You can not access thru the Yahoo mobile feature however if you get the POP settings which are under the Mail Options on Yahoo Mail you can set it up as a pop mail account on the phone and it should work(mine does). I have set it up on my Diamond as well as the Instinct and some other phones with no problem. Let me know if that helps or if you need more ino

Re: yahoo business mail

I use yahoo mail plus and I just put my user name and pass in and it figured out all the settings. Worked perfect. Not sure how biz mail is different from plus

Re: yahoo business mail

Help please.

I think my Yahoo business email setup is ok since after it was created and setup, I can download all the emails from my yahoo account. However after initial setup, every time when I try to send/receive message, I am stuck with a message 'Looking for change' and it takes for ever. When the screen turns off and I turned on the screen again, the message is changed to 'Disconnecting and seems takes forever. I need to soft-reset my phone to get rid of this message.

Appreciate if anybody can help me out this problem.

Re: yahoo business mail

try setting it up again happened to me a few times but it finally works.

also
outgoing server requires authentication (needs to be checked) then go to advance settings on the same screen and check require ssl for incoming and require ssl for outgoing

dont do automatic send recieve this will kill ur battery in 2seconds LOL > change to manual, the go to advance settings on the same screen and select keep them on the server because you will end up deleting things u really didnt plan on deleting
