As soon as they bring back my help desk job from India, I'll consider it! Who were we talking about being cheap again?

Dually agreed. I already pay for internet, yet you want to charge me to use my internet again?! Thats like charging for text messages... All text messages are data, but you charge me extra for them... Whos being cheap here?

You're kidding, right?

Wouldn't have anything to do with the crappy selection of phones they had for so long?

Or their piss poor solution for international roaming?

I've been with Sprint for nearly 10 years now and I'm pretty confident that Sprint isn't laying off because the few people who have a phone capable of tethering AND savvy enough to hack their phone in one way or another are using their phones for internet access (that they pay for on their phone) for their PC.

i hate to challenge the forum troll but sprint is cutting 8000 employees because the economy is going to !@#$. not because the people in this forum are smarter then whatever douche at sprint decided to make tethering 60$ a month.
dont flame anybody in the community about the moral implications of money saving upgrades, because if i wasnt for this community and this forum and the upgrades they produce, i know damn well that i, and many others would just go buy a blackberry on AT&T.

Just curious.. Do most of the roms (I'm on Mightyrom) have the ICS already fixed? Also, I use WMwifirouter... Should I choose sprint, or phone as modem?

You should choose Sprint. The Newest version of vmwifirouter already does the hacks for you. no need to do them unless you feel the urge.

I talked to the sprint guys when I changed my plan around. Stay in the 5gb area of the data and you should never be bothered. I have a friend who uses his nightly for phone as modem after doing the hacks and has never had any trouble.. Well until I call him and it switches back to 1x and slows his net down ;)
