Possible to make LED circle light flash faster?

I want to be able to have the circular LED flash every .5 or 1 second compared to what seems like 2 seconds right now. Is it possible to change this setting?

I've checked the stickies and searched but have not come up with anything.

I too would love to know if this is possible. As well as if it's possible to customize the LED pattern at all. For instance, not only the speed, but instead of doing a circle, do something like 3 quick flashes from all the quadrants at once.

This would be getting into the hardware programming. Does anyone know if you can control these settings with cooked ROMs? That's the only way I could think to do it.

Re: Possible to make LED circle light flash faster?

There has got to be a way to do this. I can't believe this isn't more widely discussed. If I step away to the restroom, when I get back I want to be able to glance quickly at my phone to see if I missed something. The very infrequent flashes on new emails is horrid. Makes me really miss my Mogul and those nice corner LEDs.

Not to mention that the light stops flashing on new emails after about 5 mintues... ugh. Horrid.

Re: Possible to make LED circle light flash faster?

Sounds like something I would be interested in as well... Or maybe different patterns for missed calls, texts, emails etc.

Also, I've yet to search for it yet... But something for Distinctive vibrate? The current (only) vibrate function for calls/text is wayyyy too long and annoying... i like the 3 shot burst vibrate function... Anyone know about that also?

I'm using Phonealarm to modify the vibrate pattern.

Unfortunately for me, the developer of Phonealarm has not given Phonealarm the ability to modify the TP flashing pattern. He merely defaults to the existing, built in patterns.

Re: Possible to make LED circle light flash faster?

An app that could create custom light flashes, intervals & lengths would be flashy but by no means a real progressive step in device functionality.

This sounds light a task for no2chem.

He is a master at device hardware/software mods. He created nueLight which worked great on the Mogul for controlling both Signal & Bluetooth led's...

Just a heads up - the program has a bit of a learning curve and the different vibrate patterns are located in the advanced user settings, where you edit a text file.
