Re: Wmwifirouter / broken wifi
Make sure you shut the program down correctly each time (don't just kill it from a task manager). If you're having issues connecting to access points, try running the program again and shutting it down normally. That should clean up any errors that occurred.
If that doesn't work, go to settings-->connections-->wifi and make sure the drop down box for "Networks to access" is set to either "all available" or "only access points." Then go to the network adapters tab-->IEEE 802.11... and make sure the button for "Use server-assigned IP" is selected. You shouldn't have issues as long as you correctly shut the program down though. The new version is much better at cleaning up after itself than the freeware version was. |

Re: Wmwifirouter / broken wifi
Yeah, it's best to get into the habit to actually shut it down correctly. Also, when your TP crashes while WMWiFiRouter is running (notice I said when, not if), go back into the program and shut it down properly before using it again.
When I had 0.91, there was a feature called "Crash Cleanup" that allowed you to restore all phone settings without exiting the program, but now that I bought the official version, I can't find the feature. Oh well. |
