taking my TP on my first vacation

Just got back from a business trip and wanted to post a couple frustrations I have had. I had to constantly plug my phone in during the day due to heavy use. I would absolutley with out a doubt recoomend a backup battery if you know your going to be out and not in an office all day (i work from home so never had to deal with this before). Second, although the TP has great features it is not a laptop replacement. I thought I would be cool by not bringing my laptop but heavy use DRAINS the battery way to fast, and then you dont have a phone, bring a laptop. FInally the music player. I only have the stock 1 gb card so not a ton of room but it did well. When i had the phone in airplane mode it had battery life that i thought i was going to have all along (first smartphone). To use it for exptended period of time again drainsthe battery, going to go buy a dedicated mp3 player this week. Finally streaming music DRAINS the battery, my phone would get so damn hot it was annoying, Orb and kinoma are so awesome but not useful for long term playing.

I hope this saves some one some pain on not having a phone due to a dead battery. Speaking of battery/store shoudl i get one at?
