htc touch pro voice mail

Hey,is any body having any problems of not getting alerts for voice mail even when you go to the settings under sound and notifications and set it for ,play sound,display,and vibrate i get nothing i just check them after i miss a call and find out i have a few but i am not getting notified,anybody know what it could be.
