So I was just sitting around and was checking through registry folders on my Touch Pro that I just got... well I went to double tap a folder to open it in Total Commander and it didnt open it, just selected. Went to double tap again, and the first tap opened the "rename" option, and 2nd tap changed the name to "s" (or some unfortunate series events along those lines) I thought I was going for "Microsoft" but that folders still there, maybe I was trying to scroll down, I cant remember as I paniced after the change was made. Long story short the problem is that I don't know what the folder name originally was
.
I THINK the renamed folder was near "Microsoft" in the alphabetical list for the above reason but it is in the directory "HKLM\Software\". The renamed folder contains the folders "ContextMenu" and "FilePush". Incase someone can help by checking their registry for me, the folders in my "HLKM\Software\" directory currently are:
-Apps
-Drivers
-Handmark
-HTC
-IA Style
-L&H
-LockStream
-Microsoft
-MIDI Engine
-OEM
-Opera
-s (the folder I renamed, so this is the incorrect one)
-ScanSoft
-SprintTV
-Tegic
-XT9 Input Method
So it would be greatly appreciated if someone could go through their "HLKM\Software" registry folder and see what I am missing (that was renamed) and check the contents of said possible folder to make sure it is in fact the one that contains the two mentioned folders.
And it is a completely stock ROM, only thing changed was the registry to remove the "message sent" alert and the registry to change opera's home page. Thanks in advance for any help
