What's wrong with live search?
 

Hey guys, need some help. When i use live search, I want it to locate me so i hit the button and all i get is an error. anyone out there know why this is hapening and what i can do to fix. I have already uninstalled and downloaded latest version from windows. included is a screen shot of the error message.

Yes you need to go into settings and set GPS to com 4.

Have you checked to see if your "Location Setting" is turned "on" for GPS usage in the Phone/Option/Service tab

That is the newest version of LiveSearch. Personally, I prefer the previous version. Seems to work better, atleast for me anyway

Mine is set to: GPS Intermediate Driver, and it works, interesting that you need to have it to com 4.

hey guys thanks for quick response, Unfortunately tried all suggestions but still won't work is there a file or some fix i can download that anyone knows about. Thanks in advance

Yeah, I'm not sure why it didnt work but I set it to com 4 and its all set now.

I just noticed you were on Verizon....maybe it is a Verizon thing... 8)

If you are on Verizon...try this it is a GPS Fix.
