I'm using the stock Alltel rom right now, but it should work the same on any rom unless the rom was built to enable GPS by default. What rom are you using, or did u build your own rom using BuildOS ?

The only thing i had to do to get my GPS working was to turn on the option for location under the phone settings.. After that all things worked fine on my wifes stock rom TP and mine that running coinflippers rom. its under settings, phone, services tab, location setting. DId a soft reset afterwards and all things were fine.
