Do you have 1 playlist with all the songs in your library? I know that is how I have mine set up using the music tab and it lags a lot. But when I use windows media player I notice there is less lag. Probably because of the reason cornelious mentioned. I have my music arranged in separate folders by artist and albums.

Its just put in one folder and when you go to the music tab, it just starts loading it up. Does the stock rom have HTC audio manager on it?

Ok, can someone tell me how to disable the sprint music tab? I have found about 5 other pages where people suggest it, but no one ever says how. I'm sure its something easy.

Until I can find a solution, I have to get rid of the tab, because if I accidentally hit it, I'm hosed.
