Re: Acer to Hack a Touch Pro
hahha, those are the exact same specs of my new Acer :]
386.86 including tax would be your final price, depending on what state you're in i guess though. but cali, it's 386.86. no regrets on my choice, i love this thing. |

Re: Acer to Hack a Touch Pro
I use a bluetooth usb for my acer one 160 gb then I have wifirouter on the pro and connect via bluetooth. It works perfectly. The acer's wifi card is suspect but the bluetooth connection is more reliable.

Re: Acer to Hack a Touch Pro
Found the 6 cell - 160 gb black acer one (upgrade) on Amazon.com for about $410.00 with tax and shipping... not bad... walmart has the same one for $425.00... I saw a 9 cell battery on amazon also for the acer for about a buck 20 ($120)... supposed to get 12 hours battery life... this i like...

Re: Acer to Hack a Touch Pro
why do you guys like netbooks? price? portability? the combo? i use a dell xps m1210 and it is almost as small as a netbook but powerful enough to do anything a desktop can do. I did consider buying a netbook to take back and forth to work, but when i played with one at the local staples store the tiny little keyboard drove me insane( i believe it was a acer one 8.9") and the prce was comparable to a full size laptop on sale. i have also considered buying them for my smaller children, do they perfom well with online flash games? will they play games such as half life? and are they pretty sturdy?
