Minor but annoying glitch

So I was trying to fix that delayed ringing issue, but somehow I wound up giving my phone a couple additional idiosyncrasies. I was following the advice on this page of an old thread when I noticed a couple strange things happening as I reset for the tweaks to take effect. As I shut down and start up now, I hear the Default.wav sound. It just cuts through the normal shut down sound.

What annoys me a little more is that when I get a call now, only the D-pad and pick up buttons flash while the hang up button stays solid. Any ideas? I'd much rather not have to hard reset...
