Re: No signal while "Roaming Only"
A hard reset might still not change some of the phones settings, could this be a programming isssue?

Re: No signal while "Roaming Only"
I think the next step here would be to compare all the PST settings, I really doubt it is a hardware problem, and even if the problem is resolved with a new phone, we have to pinpoint the problem, for everyone else having this problem in the future. Isn't that the PPcgeeks way??

Re: No signal while "Roaming Only"
I am from Puerto Rico too..
The funny thing is that when I go to ##PRT# and change preferred serving system to Roaming Only and soft reset after the changes it works great. But when I tried the regedit cab it doesn't. I remember when I had dreams rom it worked via settings, phone, roaming options. But not with any other rom. |

Re: No signal while "Roaming Only"
##PRT# edit, enter MSL
Left soft key, find modem settings Preferred Serving System > Roaming Only > ok > Yes Edit: Anyways I just checked and it doesnt matter that I change the phone to Roaming with the reg edit cab, If I go toPreferred Serving System via ##PRT# it still has Automatic there. Not sure why. Last edited by osva; 01-27-2009 at 10:39 PM. |

Re: No signal while "Roaming Only"
Yeah sorry I'm always reading this forum, I don't post much, but I haven't been able to read them since last week because of family health problems..
But yeah the thing is that you can now change it thru settings > phone > roaming back again to automatic, but not to roaming. |
