I understand and yes I did a hard reset even did the reset and only did the cab (checking the reg after of course) and still nothing.




this would make sence but I do roam sometimes but even when the phone roams on auto when i force in the same area it still just looks sor service....this sucks, thanks for all yalls help with this.

No, the triangle has to do with the difference in software.

That page is cool! Have you tried to install a older PRL? If not, I would try the 60613 PRL as it came out the same time as the 20232 PRL for your KRZR. I tried to find a break down/deciphering of both PRLs, but only came up with info on 20232 so far. You can check it out here:

Just for the record, I have this edit on my and my girlfriend's Mogul and my Touch Pro, and could never get a signal with any of them when set to roam only, even after a hard reset. I guess that makes four of us on five phones with the same problem. I'm in the Dallas area where Verizon and other signals are strong, so there shouldn't have been a problem getting a roaming signal.

Ok, I had my Touch 6900 just sitting here, I went on the sprint website and swapped phones real quick, then I select "Roaming only", and bam!! All bars in the verizon network.

It is definitely an issue with the TP.
Hard resetting is outta the question for me right now, so I'll hold out on the forced roaming.

Ps: I never realized how much I missed my 6900, I might keep it for a while :mrgreen:

I updated the PRL on my TouchPro with the 60613 PRL like in my 6900 shown above, but still nothing.

BtW, what does the triangle mean?

Why are you using an evdo data card prl?

Shouldn't you be using 60650 instead of 60750?

Ok, just hard reset. I'm going to try the cab first without any mod to the phone. If it doesn't work I'll try the manual edit. And if that doesn't fix it I'll try with the PRL budney suggested.

EDIT: Well, I hard reset my device, installed the cab, soft reset, changed to roaming and nothing. Went ahead and checked the registry values manually, everything fine, soft reset, still not working. Changed to recommended PRL 60613, still didn't work. Updated to 60650, and same problem (searching for signal)... I guess a few of us are unlucky :(... Thanks for all the help though.
