Sure, occasionally I do run into issues where the mail isn't pushed immediately, but this seems to be once every two weeks, and it never lasts for more than 15 minutes. Just leaving it alone causes it to start working again, I figured there was just trouble on Seven's end.
Is Seven a free program?

Just put Seven on my phone, and it's pretty f'ing sweet! Email instantly! Not sure if this will help the battery any, but we'll see over time. What version did you install?

The personal one or whatever... but when I added my school's exchange OWA address I got an e-mail for the work version too

Battery impact is quite minimal... though present. If you're still using the stock Sprint radio, reflash it to the Telus radio, add Seven, and you'll -still- get better battery life

Edit: I've been using Seven for quite some time now. I absolutely love it. I don't know how I could deal without it, and I don't even use my e-mail all that much. It's just so nice to have the messages pushed to my device even before my PC picks it up most of the time. It also tracks read/not read and deleted status across the multiple e-mail clients. I have it set up for Exchange (via OWA... suck on that MCC IT department, who says I couldn't access my exchange stuff remotely), gmail, and windows live mail. This is definitely a program I would pay for.

Re: Push Email?

With Seven is there a way to keep the emails on the server? Would like those there for later use...

All of mine so far stay on the server until deleted from the device, or if I delete them from my account via whatever means necessary, those changes are then reflected on the device too. It seems to be a total synchronization.

Re: Push Email?

Thank you. The reason that I thought that they were deleted was due to the fact that I deleted them off of my phone. So I sent a couple of tests and then checked and both places did receive them. Very nice. The only problem I notice is that when I open Seven and then exit, I am not able to load the app again without a soft reset. The background version still works, but as far as being able to get back into the app I have to soft reset. Anyone experiencing this?

Never experienced that situation, might wanna uninstall and reinstall to see if it fixes the problem, it shouldnt do that, you should be able to access the app anytime you want without soft resetting..

Re: Push Email?

If you really want Yahoo to push you have to have Yahoo Plus (not free).
