Bluetooth echo - skullcandy helmet

Yeah, this is a weird one.

I have a Salomon ski helmet with the SkullCandy Bluetooth ear pieces. It works great, except that when a call comes in the other person hears their voice 2 seconds later. They basically hear whatever is coming through my ear again.

If I mute the phone they get no echo. If I turn the volume way down they get less.

Basically I'm trying to find a way to have the phone calls play through one ear while the mic (located in the other ear) picks up my voice only.

Is this possible?

Skullcandy says it's a problem with my phone, but honestly I'd say they don't know (well, the tech said at first that he didn't know anything about the product).

Any help???

Thanks,
Liam
