This dialer is totally awesome for a free program, but if you want an even better s2a (& you don't mind paying for it) try the newest version of PocketShield.

PS has an awesome green/red s2a screen that slides from the top down (green on the left, red on the right) & has no "mute ring" button to screw things up. The contact photos show up in awesome almost full screen & since it uses a black skinned version of the WinMo dialer it rings a good 2-3 rings sooner than the HTC setup.

This is pretty much nothing more than just a skin for the newest dialer. It's not a custom dialer I made or anything. I just found this skin, and edited it a bit the basic functionality of it is not up to me

Does this version remove the top bar that says "incoming call" when an incoming call is received that tends to chop part of the top portion of the caller id?

are u then defaulting back to the WM default dialer and removing htc volume... is that the setup u are running?

You don't have to but you'd have to find an older version of phonecanvas without the slide to answer to make it more effective I would think

That is correct.

I would rather use the HTC dialer skin, but using the WinMo default dialer completely eliminates the incoming ring lag (it rings a good 2-3 rings faster with the WinMo skin than it does using the bloated HTC POS)

I could use the PS s2a with the HTC skin (it works either way). I just choose not to.

Just install the Mighty ROM and was looking for a slide to answer function. Found this thread and download the S2A compressed and successfully installed it. Yet, the function is not visible or I don't know how to activate. So I tried CDMA Black S2A and got it installed. Still no luck. Help please...
