Long key press ==> Terminate Data Connection

I have used Juicy's 4.7, MightyRom 4.9.3 and now 4.11

It seems that no matter what rom I use, whenever I have Long Press End Key set to Terminate Data Connection it takes several key presses to get it to work.

I never had this issue with the mogul, and I loved being able to shut down the data connection after web browsing or whatever (and preserve the battery).

Anyone out there with a better alternative for shutting off the data connection on the TP? Please share!
