Is there something wrong with my phone??

I installed the black slide to answer with curtain 2 days ago, and last night, my phone started ringing, said unavailable, I slid it over to answer and it started ringing again as if I never tried to answer, I did this a ton of times thinking, shouldnt this call have went to voicemail by now? My phone popped up and said 8 missed calls. I called my friend and she said what are you up to, she said I thought you were just calling me back I called you like 2 seconds ago and your phone rang 20 times before it went to voicemail, so why would my phone do that and it shouldnt have came up unavailable, should I be worried or is this just a glitch?
