Warranty for ebay phone?

I was wondering what you guys with ebay phones do for warranty? I was very skeptical on whether or not to buy a phone and activate it on verizon but I think it's pretty much the only way to get a good phone on a good network...

Anyways, I normally go through quite a few replacement phones throughout the year but I obviously won't be able to do that anymore... I was wondering how the mfg warranty for a phone bought off ebay would work? Does anyone have any experience or comments on this?
