Touch Pro wont soft reset
 

Just like the title says. I found the phone Sprint Touch Pro was running slow so I decided to do a soft reset, no go. I press the button and it did nothing. I have the cleanup large icon installed, otherwise factory ROM. About a day after it would not soft reset it started to reboot itself at different times. One time I would start to write a reply email and it reboots. Then I turn on bluetooth and it reboots. When I hold the power button down it will turn off, and when i press the power button it turns on normally. However i do get the error that voice command cannot start due to low memory. My memory has 106MB free for storage, 118MB for program, and about a gig for storage card.

Please help, really would hate to hard reset/return to sprint as i had everything installed and running the way i liked it.

Hate it or not you want your phone working right? Backup and hard reset!!!

try to reset it using sktools if you have it installed.

i hate to say it,but it sounds like yours is defective.i would return it and get a better working one.

Whatever Large clean up icon prog you have, uninstall and try again. If that fails then hard reset as other suggested.

"Reset Button", it is a software way to reset, that is what I use to avoid damage to the reset button or if it does not want to reset via the button even better yet I dont have to pull out the stylus.

I installed sktools and was able to soft reset via the software, however I still cannot reset via the button. And maybe about 10 mins after its on , i get the voice command has quit due to lack of memory error... How do you uninstall the large icon "cleanup" program.

Go to start > settings > System > remove programs

Sounds like you have to hard reset my friend....
