Sliding Sounds for Touch Pro

Here is an old thread I started when I had my Mogul. I just updated it to work with the Touch Pro.

Touch Pro Update
For those users that have a Touch Pro you will need to install the HTC SlindingSound.cab file that is attached to this post. Once you install you will then need to do a soft rest of the phone for the app to show up under settings.

I've put together a MEGA Sliding Sound Pack for myself and my friends and thought I would share it with the peeps on PPCGeeks. You can also uninstall this cab if you need the extra ram back. If you see your work here, Thanks!

When I installed the cab I only see the xylephone, piano, and wind chimes as possible sounds.

like first poster (dvdmon) I only get three options. Piano is a nice effect. I'm downloading the other wav files now.

The HTC Slidingsound.CAB will only give you the stock/defult HTC sliding sounds. Which are Wind Chimes, Piano, and Xylophone. You will need to install the MEGA.Sliding.Sound.Pack.cab file from the rapidshare link to get the rest of the sounds.

Cmylxgo, great work putting the original package together. I added one or two sounds, renamed the files to be more descriptive, redid the reg entries to work with Tiermann Slide Sound, and had to reinstall a couple manually that were causing some problems for me initially. Wouldn't have been able to do it without the start you provided.

Thanks again for your work putting the sound package together - always brings looks and smiles when a sound fires up.

The program in the link above isn't working for a few of us. This MEGA pack works GREAT!!! The one above keeps crashing when you open the slider.

I installed the two cabs in my Touch Pro and tried renaming the wav files. The files were initially named Slider0_in and Slider0_out. I tried naming the files to Slider0_in.wav and out but got the same result. I then tried changing the name to 0_in.wav and out and again the same. I only have like 5 sounds and 3 don't work. Please help

Huh??

Tiermann's program works PERFECTLY with the TP.

I've installed it on approx. 20 TP's for family/friends, and I've yet to hear of it crashing.

You may want to try your download/install again. Something obviously went wrong. Let me know if you need assistance.

aww dude, mario it is for me LOL. When you expand, its the growing noise, and when you slide the kb back in its the hit-by-enemy-grow-smaller noise.
