Its ok no worries, anyone mind linking me to a quick tutorial on how to install the flip clock, the working sprintfix for the background on all tabs, and possibly on how to install themes that arent .cabs?

I know its alot to ask but no where is better than here.

The Off-center tf3d? u mean the icons aren't centered in the slider? I get that when i try to install a new theme/piece from the stock sprint theme...
Have you read anything about flashing roms? Not only will it make everything "That" much easier for you with customizing and stuff, it will also speed up the fluidity of tf3d and the overall operating system tremendously!

But follow directions very carefully and make sure you unlock with the proper version of the software... Don't trust yourself yet, i don't blame ya, took me 4 months before flashing a custom rom, but maaaan is it worth it...

Meh, but some prefer the stock roms.. to each his own.

What do you mean by custom roms? Im sorry I am completely new to phones this depth in general I know a decent amount about pcs and trying to explain something like this which is probably extremely simple to a n00b is unbarable to me. So as you can imagine its terribly aggravating for me to feel like the other side of the conversation.

a rom is the core operating system to say the least... A person will take the STOCK ROM, tweak/modify/update/remove-junk and recompile it for us to "Flash"(process of putting it on the phone) to our devices... now it breaks warranty because you have to security unlock your phone to do this, but it makes a WORLD of a difference... and you'll have to put the stock ROM back on if something happens and you wanna take it in for warranty replacement... NEVER tell the sprint guy you've unlocked and flashed a new rom...

does that give you a minor idea mah man?

download Advanced Config and Diamond TF3D Config and PHM Registry Editor...

Do lots of reading first. If you choose to install a custom ROM, just go slowly and follow all instructions completely and you should be fine.

Your earlier post did give me a idea, I know fully understand what ROM is... I think...

As far as those links and .cabs/mod programs, I am running a TP not a Diamond are all/most HTC phones interchangeable with their mods and other things?

Some mods are specific to a particular device or group of devices (eg. Diamond TF3D Config is specific to the TP, Diamond or other devices using TF3D) and some are applicable to all devices running WM (eg. PHM Registry editor). As long as you read about what you're installing before you install it, you should be OK. The only fatal installs usually involve installing the wrong radio or ROM to your device.

i had a diamond, then a pro and those tweaks work on both!

ROMs are NOT interchangeable tho... if you have a CDMA phone, ie sprint, you must use a CDMA ROM SPECIFICALLY for the Touch Pro and a CDMA Unlocker, others will BRICK(ruin/freeze for good) your device... If you decide to unlock and go with a custom rom, i recommend using Juggalo's ROM... in my opinion, it is ELITE! Especially with some of those tweaks from xda!
