1. BLack Touch Pro screen
2. Sprint Splash animated screen
3. Third screen (i think that is the welcomehead.192)
4. The screen that loads until touchflo starts

Any help is greatly appreciated.

1. Boot splash screen
2. Startup screen ( .gif)
3. Welcome screen ( welcomehead.192.png)
4. Desktop screen ("Launching TouchFlo" screen is like the Mogul home screen, prior to HHC customizer)

When using advanced config, I could only see, "splash screen", 2 Choices; 1 was MS splash on startup the other is Carrier splash on startup. Both choices pointed to \windows\welcomehead.192.png.

I know to use TotalCommander for the .gif. How do we manipulate the boot splash screen?

I rigged these up just now. Total noob to this, but it came out pretty good.

The first one is about 2 seconds, and the second one is 5 seconds long.

I would also like to thank RangerPain and iNTaYkE for their files.

Yay first post! Lol.:headbang:

Here is a start up screen I made for a rom series I am making.

Re: Splash screens and startup animations

I am having some serious issues with getting the animated splash screen to load. I have used advanced config to change the HTC animation files to my selected gif (animated.gif) and (PhoneOn.wav) and neither of these items are seen on startup. I also used total commander to replace the stock animated.gif and phoneon.gif with mine. Any suggestions? btw there is no string for the htcanimation file. it is simply listed as "default" with "value not set"

I seem to be having the same problem. I believe the ROM I am using (Energy 3.0 20090506) did not include the start up animation cooked into it. I believe this is everyone elses issues as well that cannot get it to work. Is there any way to "turn on" this animation for a ROM that did not have the oem animation cooked into it?
