Re: Splash screens and startup animations

ok look, find the png file and transfer it to your pc. Open it with ms paint and save it as a jpeg. Thats how you convert it from png to jpeg. Then you'll need to transfer the jpeg back to your phone if you need it.

Oh, well I'm doing all this on my phone. I need to have my laptop? I'm at school.

use TC, or look at it in windows and change your iphone killer.jpg to welcomehead.192.png.

Then

use total commander to copy the file into /windows, the reason you need TC is because the regular file explorer cannot overwrite windows files TC can.

What do you mean by "change"? How exacctly would I change that using TC? Go to the jpeg image and properties and click rename? oorrr what?

Im a photshop pro, and plenty of time.. Post some suggestions. There are limitations though, cuz i've made a few and they were way too big. Also post the link to the source images.

Post the pic you want to use, and I will make it simple for you, I will make a cab installer that will replace the splash screen for you :)

You are my HERO! Thank you in advance! lol

The one I wanted originally was on Page 13, post #124. Its an animation I thought it might be hard to do that and too confusing for me.

So then I decided to go for the one on Page 15, Post #142.

It would be AWESOME if I could use the animation to replace the original "Sprint" startup animation, and then the retro grey iphone killer to replace the windows green startup picture!

I'd really like the animation though, but whatever you can do for me is greatly appreciated! Thanks man!

Attached zip file has two cab installers; one for the splash screen (iPhoneKiller) and one for the startup animation (HTCshot).....

Before I do this and don't mess anything up, do I need to soft reset after each installation?
