Screen auto-wake with new SMS question...

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I haven't been able to find a solution...if one exists. Is there any way to disable the screen from waking up automatically with every new SMS, besides having to "lock" the phone?

From what i gather, It has been an ongoing annoyance of past and present windows mobile users, In that there is no apparent quick registry fix or hack that can stop it. Hope that helps
