Re: Touch Pro vs. Car
Well, the crazy part is... I trusted the lady first. I figured she'd bring it back because of her voice tone. So I called Sprint to make sure I was covered and told them to go ahead and ship me a phone.
Then when she stopped answering for 3 hours, I already knew TP's have a horrible battery and vibrate+ring was on, so every call was getting me closer to never seeing my phone again, I started worrying. So I called Sprint and had it noted that I originally lost the phone, someone found it and answered it, and do not have it because the lady who found it is no longer answering... and they said they'd "note the account, but can't guarantee waiving the charge due to the initial call." Which was my fault, of course. But like I said in the OP, she finally got it back to after 3 stressful hours. Thanks to TP for the automatic phone lock feature, also! Made me feel safer when I didn't know what my phone looked like. At least I could rest knowing they weren't looking through my life, lol. |

Re: Touch Pro vs. Car
Yeah, you're right. If you say it's broken or you have it, they want it! That's why even if I have a phone and it can't be repaired, I just say I lost it because they even give you a time limit on returning it before they charge you. So to avoid the hassle I just say it's lost. (Not telling anyone else to do it, but that's what I do.) Anyway, I'm glad you got it back. Props to honest ppl.
