S2U2 1.40 power save mode

Hi.. I installed S2U2 v1.40 a couple of days ago and have experienced about double my normal battery life since. I'm only dropping 10% every three hours where before it was 10% an hour. There's a possibility it's a fluke but I wanted to hear if anyone else has experienced the same results. Too, what does power save mode do to save power? I know there must be a trade off somewhere right?

Out of curiousity, how is everyone configuring S2U2 to receive these results?

It's pretty much set at the defaults for me other than it's set to raw buffer and a few aestetic settings. I haven't had any issues with this build so far.
That is: under Advanced: Power Save Mode= ON, Don't suspend power=OFF, safe mode= OFF, display mode=rawbuffer

How's the delay time for ringing when receiving a call? I found that S2U2 introduced a significant delay when receiving calls, so I un-installed it, and the delay disappeared.

I can't really tell if there's much of a delay... If there is I'm not missing calls because of it so it's not bugging me. *Edit.. I just called my phone from my desk, there's not much lag at all.

Intesresting. I'll give it another shot then. I *still* haven't found a satisfactory solution to locking yet. PocketShield doesn't play well with SPB Phone Suite, and had other unacceptable bugs too. Thanks!

So I guess S2U2 v1.40 is a lot better than the previous releases? I tried 1.33 and another version but they had a bunch of flaws with them.

It seems about the same as v1.37 other than the power save mode. I didn't like 1.33 either, it was bad enough that I almost didn't try the newer versions.
