My first TP was from the original release on 10/26 so my first build was around 10/12 i guess. It had heating issues but i was fine with it. I only had it exchanged when i went to get a car charger and just happened to mention that my phone got warm. They offered me a new one out the blue so I said ok thinking the build might be better. It came in yesterday and i swapped it out. The first thing I noticed was when I did my SPB Backup it said that the ROM versions were different. I didnt mind to check my original ROM number but the new TP has 1.03.651.3. Ive also noticed that the screen is whiter in appearance, the keyboard doesnt scrape, the open/close had a nice snap to it now, the keyboard lights up brighter and more even (3 key is still brighter), and I swear i have a little more room to press the upper number keys. The issue that i really want to point out is the different ROM message i received from SPB. Can we also post some ROM versions now so we can see if they have actually changed it? Maybe they did some minor tweaking hopefully.

I just got it today. The build date on this on is 12/25/08. (Jesus phone? Relax, I kid, I kid) So far I don't see any physical issues with the phone. No raised Home Key, no cracks in the chrome, screen is not yellow as some have reported. The back cover seems to still be kind of flemsy but does not creek either when typing on the keyboard. But that may change after some use.

I have not provisioned it yet so I am not sure about performance. Give me some time to get things set up and I will report back.
