Re: [Consolidated] [2009 01 06] Touch Pro Build Date

I dropped my first one on day 2. It was wacky for a few days. Best Buy replaced it which I found the new one to be totally diefferent (Born on Date of 11/6/0. First off the keyboard is much better and it's actually lit very well. All the bugs the first one had were nonexistant on the new one. So I guess it's safe to say they continued working on them with each batch.

Re: [Consolidated] [2009 01 06] Touch Pro Build Date

had one of the very first shipment of touch pros (october), but i got it replaced in december because of reception issues (sprint auto updated my phone with a prl update, and it caused my touch pro to not get reception in my basement or at work...when i previously used to).

my current (2nd) t ouch pro has a build date of december 10th, 2008 and its been fantastic, minus the heat issues after talking on the phone for quite a while.

Re: [Consolidated] [2009 01 06] Touch Pro Build Date

Got mine from local Sprint center 3 days ago. Build date 12/14. Raised D-pad. Very low volume from the speakerphone and earpiece. No heat issues while charging. Have not tested the heating after long talk time yet. Screen sensitivity seems fine. No major lag issues. Keyboard seems OK, evenly lit. Have not tested GPS.

Should I exchange it? They told me it was a new batch.

Thanks.

try a hard rest for the volume issue. i read somewhere that a hard reset might solve low volume issues. my pro had really low volume so i thought i would hard rest it before returning it. guess what after the hard rest it was much louder and clearer i do not know why this works but in my case it did.
