HELP! I Bricked my Sprint Touch Pro

So, to make a long story short, i tried to upgrade my ROM to a custom rom, I had already downloaded the Hard-SPL required to do so but i think i may have downloaded a rom meant for a GSM handset...

Now, when i turn on my phone i see the htc pro start up screen and it just keeps looping to that same screen. So, my question to you is is there any way to reverse this?

Any help would be much much appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Re: HELP! I Bricked my Sprint Touch Pro

if you can get the bootloader screen up you can reflash with a new rom...

How do I get into the Bootloader Mode Screen?
Option 1 - Press and Hold the Power and Volume Down buttons and use the stylus to reset your phone while holding those 2 buttons.

Option 2 - Completely power down your phone (i.e. take out battery). Press and Hold the Power and Volume Down buttons until the phone powers on in the boot loader screen.

To get out of it, simply use your stylus to reset the device.

Re: HELP! I Bricked my Sprint Touch Pro

you wont be able to get to the phone in bootloader mode... however it should reconise the phone and you should be able to reflash a new rom.

Re: HELP! I Bricked my Sprint Touch Pro

You won't be using active sync for this and you won't see that your phone is being seen in My Computer either. What you should see/hear is when you connect the phone in bootloader mode, you will see the tri coor screen and at the bottom is will change to USB when you connect. You should hear the usual sounds of the device being connected. You will NOT see anything in My Computer and Active Sync will NOT detect your phone.

Use what ever rom you have that you know is good. Go through the usual flashing process and your phone should be detected by the flashing utility. If it gets stuck at 0% when flashing, just pull the battery, go back into bootloader mode and try again.
