My question refers to that possibility, so unless you know 100% for sure that the LED's underneath are static white, don't assume.

Not sure if your aware of this.. someone posted a broken-down TP pics and all. If you come across the op maybe he can answer your question?

Until someone proves otherwise that is what I will assume... as far as I know the only multi color led they make is RED GREEN BLUE... not with white...

if this were even possible with just a program, i may try it and that would be all. I personally like that it only lights up white since everything else lights up white..or green on the keyboard. Now if the talk and end buttons lit up green and red respectively i feel a multi colored center button would be more aesthetically appealing. Just my $.02

The thing that makes it unlikely as compared to the blackberry is the multi-segment nature of the TP's LED arrangement. Multicolor LEDs are quite a ways larger than single LEDs.

Agreed!!! Same thing with the Titan. Did you know it has White LED's for signal but they are not activated. No2Chem did something real quick with it but never conitnued.

You dont know untill you try.

Well the titan does have a multicolor LED and that's known from the start, eh? Doesn't it use several colors by default?

Multicolor LEDs have essentially multiple emitters in the same "bubble" ...

I highly doubt that the led is multicolored but there is always a very small possibility.

It's definitely a possibility. I remember the Blackberry deal with the different colors...

I doubt HTC did this though. Considering how much they tried to reduce production costs, it's highly unlikely they spent extra giving the Touch Pro extra colors for the LEDs while not even utilizing them.
