I looked and looked.. I ended up realizing it was a Tri-Pod for the Sony Experia X1.. So yes.. You and Sau were right.. At least it was a HTC WM phone.. Just not the right one...

This is an old photographer's trick really ... run the motor drive when you are dragging shutter, you can catch at least one in focus shot when handholding.

For the OP ... bright lighting helps, but other than that, things are tough.

Re: Blurry pictures

Do CMOS sensors really have shutters? I hears something click every time I take a picture.

Also, what's the ISO setting for this thing?

Re: Blurry pictures

Before I switched from my Diamond to my Pro I had the sport option that took several pics in a row and it helped out with motion and blur. Does anyone have a cab I can use on my Pro to get this option?

The shutter's presence or absence is independent of the type of sensor. CMOS is just a sensor technology. I have not done this, but if you look down the lens and click a photo, you would see a shutter close if there is one. I would guess there is none and it uses an "electronic shutter".

I wish I knew the ISO. i have not yet tried to read the EXIF -- has anyone done that?

I just checked the EXIF data on a Pro picture. It doesn't have an ISO field.
