dumb color question

ok i tried searching and reading stickies, but i cant seem to find how to change the color on the main scree for missed calls and stuff like that, with my bacground being light, the text is light, and hard to read, if anyone can help i would greatly apricate it

there are a bunch of cabs that change the color to almost anything, do a search & you can find them posted here.
