thanks bored. I was seeing crazy battery drain issues...then I thought of the gps still being on...soft-reset the phone, and it seems much much better. that's why I was aksing abou the htc comm manager cab...before i converted the phone to vzw, i played with the gps on the sprint rom...in the comm manager, I could turn off the gps hardware just like i could all the other radios...not there in the vzw rom. I will start another thread about the htc comm manager cab for sprint, see if anyone can provide, and try it out on the vzw rom.

I'd be interested in having this feature in my comm manager.

If I do this GPS fix do I have to pay VZW for GPS service?

This fix unlocks the GPS chip on the VZW TP. It's not for other devices.

Quick Question

I got the touch flow software install on my xv6800 PDA
also have Live search and Google maps .. however
the GPS does not work ..

Just like to know if this GPS fix will also work on my
device, the Verizon xv6850 aka touch pro .. is very
similar to my xv6800 device ..

Also in there an custom ROM for the xv6800? I got the
TomTom software as well..

I am very new to thing so I’ll need step by step info. thanks..

No this wont work on the Titan. I thought about messing with that PRI for you guys just havent gotten to it yet. Go to xda-developers titan forum and do some reading there. You can unlock your gps and install a custom rom but I advise alot of reading before you proceed. Look for scrosler's R4 rom i think is the name of it. Very good rom for you device and user friendly for newer users

and if you what tool do I need to run to unlock the phone?

yes it does to be able to update to his rom
